BAM Ireland kicked-off tree planting
BAM Ireland colleagues cheerfully planted trees together in Ireland on Saturday 9 February. Four BAM teams, and their families up to four generations, planted Irish indigenous trees, representing the kick-off of #BAM150 celebrations. A total of 9,000 trees have been planted.
William Diver, Construction Director, brought his wife and two daughters to Fermanagh. He said: "BAM turns 150 this year and is planting 150,000 trees all around the world to celebrate. We're enjoying it to be part of the tree planting in our home country."
John Hayes, Senior Buyer at our Cork office: "It felt good to have the opportunity to participate with friends and colleagues in the #BAM150 tree planting in Ballineen, knowing it will benefit our environment long into the future."
Luck was upon them, as the sun was out at all day. Even seats for the rugby match Ireland against Scotland, did not keep colleagues away. "This beats a celebration party any day," was one of the comments.
